Christian Nurzia (b. 1996) is a multidisciplinary artist residing in New York. Nurzia explores the repetitious themes of life, reducing patterns to their fundamental states and contextualizing forms by their intrinsic properties. Through this outlook; color, shape, and perspective become the essential elements of the natural world. These primal qualities serve as indications of a connective pattern that joins all life together. Nurzia observes this cyclical nature through sequential bodies of work, serving as individual vantage points towards a larger pathway.
Nurzia earned his BFA in Textile/Surface Design from Fashion Institute of Technology in 2023. His work has been presented in group shows at Yiddish New York, and most recently at Fashion Institute of Technology.
